Lalaloopsy Birthday Cake

Hello my friends,

It has been too long. I thought I would kick off my comeback with this really cute birthday cake I made.  The party theme was Lalaloopsy. For those of you who don’t know, like myself, Lalaloopsy toys are tiny little rag dolls that represent creativity and individuality. How awesome is that?  My friend Kayra, asked me to bake this awesome cake she saw online. I encourage anyone who is having a Lalaloopsy party to check out this link. So many great ideas. The cake is the easiest part. It’s a simple cake with a toy cake topper. Someone asked me if I molded this topper myself. Who has that kind of time? But it impressed a lot of people! The hardest part was making the perfect color green. You want to keep it fun and not use so much food coloring that the kiddo’s mouths turn green. Green is a tricky color to make. You don’t want to get to pukey with it and the kids certainly don’t want a realistic grass color. If you decided to make this cake, stay in the spirit of the wonderful colorful world of Lalaloopsy.

Much love,
